Brooke Ray Midwife works with most PPO insurance plans. She is an out of network care provider and works with a biller, Maureen George, to ensure that you receive maximum reimbursement for the care you receive. This billing service is included in the homebirth fees.
During the course of your pregnancy, you will be charged an inclusive global maternity fee. This fee includes the professional fees for prenatal care, birth, and postpartum and a fee for setting up all birthing equipment and supplies in your home.
After the birth, Maureen will bill the PPO insurance for all professional services rendered during your prenatal care, the birth, postpartum, and newborn care. You may sometimes receive reimbursements during your care but will receive most of the insurance reimbursement sometime after your six-week postpartum visit.
How much your insurance covers and the reimbursements you receive depend on your individual benefits. You may contact your insurance or look at their website to view your benefits. You may also speak to Maureen to help sort out the often confusing details. Please email her at info@brookeraymidwife.com

- What is my deductible?
- Do you cover midwives? What kind of midwives? (Brooke is
a CNM) - Is Homebirth covered?
- What are my out-of-network benefits? At what percentage are out of Network Care Providers covered?
