Hello! I’m LaShaan Crane (Everett) and I am a Certified Nurse-Midwife with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from National University. I spent nearly a decade as a Registered Nurse at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, where I built a strong clinical foundation in OB/GYN care.
After attending midwifery school at Frontier Nursing University, my work expanded into birth center midwifery at Best Start Birth Center and Tourmaline Birth Center, where I supported families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition. I have also worked in clinic-based care, as well as a perinatal telehealth provider and nursing instructor.
My care is rooted in honoring the emotional, psychological, and deeply human experience of physiologic birth. Outside of practice, I am a mother, a yoga teacher, childbirth educator and musician. I strive to create space for inclusivity, connection, and care in all that I do. I am honored to serve families in the transformative threshold of birth and beyond.
